Enzo Vidmontiene Wins Again for Team Benik“Mini driver adds to win total in 2021”
Fort Lauderdale, Florida – It was another weekend and another win for Team Benik’s Enzo Vidmontiene. Already a victor in the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Winter Series and ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour, Vidmontiene added another series to his 2021-win total taking home the top step of the podium in round one of the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS).
“Enzo has really come into his own and is performing exceptionally well,” explained Team Benik’s Nick Mitchell. “He has quickly become one of the top Mini drivers in the country and is proving what the Benik Kart is capable of doing.”
Claiming the win during round one on Saturday, Vidmontiene returned to the track on Sunday looking for more. Showing the pace needed to win, the now multi-time race winner took the chips as they would fall, gaining the most points possible towards his championship chase with a third-place podium result.
Mitchell continued, “Enzo leaves the first USPKS event as the point leader and is already atop of the standings in the Florida Winter Tour with a shot at the title this coming weekend. We look forward to assisting in both his development and winning program.”
Asher Ochstein joined Vidmontiene in the Mini Swift class and though he did not have the results that he desired, he did show pace as one of the biggest movers in Sunday’s main event to gain fourteen positions. Royce Vega tried his hand at the Micro Swift class earning a best result of the weekend with a 22nd while Michael Costello (Junior) and Logan Vajda (Senior) battled in the talent filled Pro classes at Ocala Gran Prix.
Team Benik will now shift their focus to the final round of the 2021 ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour this weekend at Ocala Gran Prix. With race wins and championship points on the line, Benik Kart drivers aim to close the first ROK Cup series of the season on a high.
